Tremenheere Sculpture Garden

Tremenheere Sculpture Garden
Overall Info

Tremenheere Sculpture Garden is situated in a protected valley overlooking St Michaels Mount.

A free flowing stream runs through the garden with several substantial ponds attached.

The warm climate and excellent soil enables a variety of exotic and sub tropical plants to thrive.

The gardens have an interesting history, being owned by the monks of St Michaels Mount and then later in the 1800s by the Tremenheere family. It was then farmed for a number of years until local GP Neil Armstrong acquired the land in 1997.

International and locally sourced sculptures have been added to the garden creating a naturalistic, arcadian space blending the elements of landscape, planting and art to create a place for contemplation and wonder.
