The FitzWimarc Badminton club, situated in Rayleigh, is one of the largest and most established badminton clubs in the County of Essex. With a large playing member base and a home venue of 5 courts, in the David Cox Sports Hall at the Fitzwimarc School. It is one of the easiest places to get involved in the game.

We are a Badminton Club that provides League Play (ten teams) in The Southend & District Association for around 45 Members. Club Nights for these Members are Tuesday Evenings 7.30 until 10.00pm playing on five courts. We also provide Social Play for Members who do not wish to play in the Leagues and have around 20 members who play on Monday Evenings 7.30 until 9.30pm.

We have qualified Coaches who provide Coaching for Junior Students between the ages of 8 to16 years.

- Coaching for Juniors 8 to 10 years is Monday Evenings 5.00 until 7.00pm.

- Coaching and club play for older students 12 to 16 year olds is provided Tuesday and Friday Evenings 6.00 until 7.30pm.
