Berkshire Tai Chi

Overall Info
Berkshire Tai Chi was established in 1996 by Philip Larsson & Trevor Priest to teach Yang & Chen style Tai Chi throughout the Royal County. It is therefore one of the oldest Tai Chi schools in the county.
Since 2006 we have been teaching in Yateley from where we serve areas in three counties; Sandhurst, Crowthorne, and Arborfield in Berkshire; Eversley, Blackwater, and Hartley Wintney in Hampshire; and Camberley in Surrey. In particular, we run a “Balance for Life†programme aimed at helping those with mobility or general health issues, such as poor balance, osteoporosis and arthritis. Over the years, this programme has been generously supported by local GP surgeries and Yateley Town Council.
Instruction is given by professional instructors with over 25 years’ experience.
Berkshire Tai Chi offers regular weekly classes, specialist seminars, in-company programmes and Tai Chi-based retreats. In 2013 we hosted Master Chen Yingjun when he visited this country and will be doing so now on a regular basis. We also design and deliver special needs programmes on request.
We currently have main teaching centres in Woodley, Lower Earley, Purley-on-Thames, and Theale but we undertake work across the Royal County.
